In addition to the above listed subjects, the library has a rich collection of books on Art, Literature, Religion, Civilization, General Knowledge and Sports, as well as Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Thesaurus, CDs and Audio Cassettes. Apart from books, the library subscribers regularly refer to a large number of daily Newspapers, Magazines, journals and Periodicals.

Library Rules:
The college library is open for the reader for eight hours during the entire year. It works between 9.00 am an 5.00 pm. The right of entry to the college Library is reserved to the bona fide students, teachers and other staff members of Sarada Vilas College. Students must keep with them their Identity Cards whenever they visit the library. Outsiders and old students of the college must seek the Librarian's permission to use the library.

Students, teachers, technical and administrative staff of the college are entitled to become members of the library. Students must apply for membership in the prescribed form obtainable from the librarian. Membership forms will be issued on production of Identity Card/College Fee Receipt.

Books will be issued to the students against their library cards. Library tickets are not transferable.

A member is responsible for the books borrowed on his/her library card. Sub lending of books is a misuse of membership privileges and will result in cancellation of membership.
All library books should be handled with due care and consideration. Members should not mark, write on or disfigure the books in any way.

Every student will be issued two library cards.

Each book borrowed can be kept for a period of fifteen days.
